Being the road version, the updated XRX Low variant of the Tiger 1200 features new, lighter cast alloy wheels and road tyres. Its also a useful 2kg lighter than before. Triumphs traditional transverse three-cylinder engines have for decades attracted legions of followers for their combination of flexibility, performance and distinctive, curdly character. The big 1215cc, shaft drive version used – now uniquely – in the Tiger 1200 is one of its best. In this latest 2018 form its now into its third generation to comply with Euro4 and is more refined – and also more powerful, producing an impressive, meaty 139bhp.
