07-09-2012 The Triumph America is a cruiser bike which many biker fans love. It reminds us of the Thunderbird and other bikes modified in the 60s and 70s. It's not a particularly sporty bike, but it's a great bike to ride nonetheless. In terms of ride quality, the Triumph America is much lower than you'd expect but it is very nippy around town. It's a bit bouncy in places, but it's overall a good ride. You'll get a modest 61bhp from this bike and it's quicker off the mark than many of its competitors. It is also quite a light bike, surprisingly, which is pleasing when going long distances. It rides low, with a seat height of 720mm, and the handlebars and wide to really give a great nostalgic feel to this model. Like with all Triumphs, the build quality is good and you can expect a reliable model for many years to come when you invest in this bike. It is a durable bike even through our British winters, just make sure you maintain it little and often to get the best out of it. This bike has been customised and looks great!
