THE BIKE SPECIALISTS. TRADING STANDARD AWARD WINNERS FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS. Bike ID: #9785 We are very proud to offer this rare opportunity to own this actual V & M Honda RVF750 RC45 Race Bike. The Honda RC45 is arguably one of the best motorcycles of all time and is a typical example of the flagship motorcycles made when engineers were still in charge at Honda. This bike is undoubtedly a classic built to last a lifetime and will only increase in value. Our bike is unique by virtue of the fact that it is an actual V&M Race bike (Team owned by Jack Valentine & Steve Mellor) that competed between 1995 and 1997. It was raced by Steve Ward for Castrol during the 1995 season and finished third in the TT that year. Terry Rymer took 1st place at Brands Hatch also in 1995 before Ian Duffus had a 4th place finish at both the TT and the NW200 in 1996. Michael Rutter then took the bike to a 2nd place finish in the TT Senior in 1997 as well as 1st & 2nd in the Northwest 200. The bike was raced in the V&M race colours during the 1996/97 seasons with its last win notched up in the rain at Brands Hatch in 97. The current owner has owned the bike for the last 15 years sat within his collection with bike kept serviced and maintained to running condition. He actually paraded the bike at a recent Goodwood meeting. The bike is supplied with the paddock stand and a file bursting with information including hand written notes re workshop overhauls, race information and numerous magazine articles. The Honda RVF750R RC45 was a fully faired racing motorcycle created for homologation purposes for the Superbike World Championship by Honda Racing Corporation. The RVF750R was the successor to the VFR750R RC30. This bike deserves to sit in any serious bike collection. Please do not miss this opportunity to purchase an asset that will only rise in value.
