We originally took this bike in part exchange from the third owner in 2022, at which point it had covered 6700 miles and he had owned it 16 years since 2006… …we then sold it to owner number 4 whom has looked after it with meticulous attention, both to maintenance requirements and keeping it in immaculate tip top condition, and now part exchanged it back in with us with the current mileage at 9800 miles Original stamped service book. All books/documents/keys present (including Red ‘Master’ key) The M900 i.e. was so designated because of it’s Marelli electronic fuel injection (iniezione eletronnica) and utilised Ducati’s fabled Desmodromic air cooled 90 degree V-Twin in 2v SOHC form developing 78bhp and 53 lb/ft. The chassis was a tubular steel trellis frame with an aluminium swingarm. Braking was by Brembo with the suspension honours shared between Showa and Ohlins. The introduction of fuel injection also brought with it a completely new high volume airbox As previously mentioned, this particular bike is a Metallica factory limited edition with the fuel tank finished in an incredible dark blue metallic metalflake paint scheme. It has an abundance of carbon fibre and hydrodipped parts which include it’s Wheels, Bikini fairing, Rear seat cowl, Front mudguard, Rear hugger and chainguard, Timing belt covers, Belly pan, Clutch cover, Infill panels, and Lower seat panels Additionally it has a Dark tint HID headlamp, Tail tidy, Oil cooler guard, Brembo anodised reservoir caps, LED indicators and Bar end mirrors and, significantly, Scorpion Carbon exhausts which both sound and look beautiful Now undoubtedly a modern classic, this bike has a distinct character, and remains very capable. With its low mileage, ownership and provenance, it needs nothing at all.
