Bridgestone claim 47% improvement in tyre range with latest Battlax Sport Touring T33

Bridgestone have today launched a new Battlax Sport Touring T33 radial motorbike tyre, due to arrive in stores from January 2025 with a claimed 47% improvement in mileage over the outgoing T32.

Said to continue to offer a high level of wet weather performance, Bridgestone themselves say that dry weather grip has improved – with a new compound and tread pattern designed to provide a surer footing over distance.

Featuring a familiarly flat tyre profile as before for stability, both the front and rear end have received an altered land-sea ratio and tread pattern stiffness.

The front end also gets a new cross belt, with the rear receiving an updated MS belt (lightweight, durable cords wrapped around the circumference of the tyre with the aim of smoother grip).

Both of these belts are said to be flexible and should mean the tyres are suitable for both lighter and heavy motorcycles. The rear tyre also benefits from a new compound, with high-strength polymer.

A total of ten sizes will be available at its launch – four fronts and six rears – with five additional sizes coming in 2026.
