Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is over so here's the deals that are still running

The bad news is that Amazon Prime Big Deal Days in October has now finished, however there are still some great deals running as shown below. The good news is that Black Friday is still to come at the end of next month.
There are still some savings to be had on tools and very tempting deals on motorcycle sat navs along with some other deals on brands you’ll recognise.
The two-day sales event served as a precursor to Black Friday, which will take place at the end of November as usual. MCN will be keeping a keen eye on the best motorcycling deals to save you wading through pages of spurious kit you don’t need.

What is Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon’s main sales are split into three main events. The big one is still Black Friday (which is the Friday after Thanks Giving in America) but there are also two others, one in spring and the other in autumn. Originally called Prime Day and lasting just 24 hours, the sales have now become known as Big Deal Days and last 48 hours each.
Do prices drop on Prime day?
Because the MCN team of bargain hunters are on the look out for deals all year, we’re in a great position to spot the ones that are worth the hype… and the ones that aren’t. Our Amazon Prime Big Deal Days page is the place to come for genuine savings on kit worth buying.
When do Prime Big Deal Days end?
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days last for two days, from Tuesday 8th to Wednesday 9th of October 2024. The sale officially ends at midnight on Wednesday 9th October, so you’ve got until then to make the most of all the deals on offer.
Prime Big Deal Days vs Black Friday
Amazon have had two Prime day events this year, and both times there’s been some pretty sweet deals for bikers – so sweet they’ve rivalled Amazon’s offerings from Black Friday last year. That being said, lots of other retailers get in on Black Friday, including Sportsbike Shop, so there’s a lot more competition driving prices down. Black Friday is just around the corner, and we’re still expecting Amazon to drop even bigger and better deals than in Prime Big Deal Days.
We’ve been scouring through the best deals since long before the days of Bargain Hunter, so keep it locked on MCN for all the best Black Friday deals for bikers when they drop, on 29th November.

"The Zumo’s serious capability is both its strength and its weakness. It can do so much, so you really need to study its functionality before you can even begin to scratch the surface of its possibilities.
"If you are a dedicated sat-nav fan and you enjoy the technology as much as you enjoy the riding, then this is definitely for you. If you like planning big trips that cover multiple days and different surfaces, then it is right up your green-lane."

Tested by Ben Clarke for five years
"This marvellous pink fluid is used by plenty of the MCN team on their own bikes and is one I frequently return to myself. If you’ve not had the pleasure, Muc-Off Nano Tech is a fully biodegradable, water-based cleaner with a distinctive sweet scent and lurid pink colour.
"You spray it on a wet bike and leave it to do its thing before agitating trouble spots with a brush and rinsing off and I’m always amazed at just how much dirt it fetches off with minimal effort.
"There’s usually a deal to be had somewhere on it, too, so you can stock up if you’ve got space to store it (or buy the concentrated version if you haven’t). Top tip, the Bike Cleaner marketed to cyclists is exactly the same formula in different packaging so you can take advantage of any deals you spot on that, too."
Pros
- Biodegradable so no need to worry about rinsing it onto your driveway
- Smells nice - not a crucial feature but nice to have all the same
Cons
- Struggles with seriously stubborn lube fling or tar
Application | Spray bottle |
Format | Dilute, concentrate or powder |
- Biodegradable
- Safe on most surfaces
- No harmful CFCs or solvents

"I've used this and it's easy to apply with the precision nozzle. It cleans impressively well with minimal scrubbing effort and wiped cleaner off with a cloth, and it smells good too, which is always a bonus. It's safe to use on any surface on the bike, and is safe for the O, X and Z rings and being biodegradable you have piece of mind that it's less harmful than some others. A pretty good option considering it is often available for less than a tenner"
Pros
- It has a nice smell
- It's suitable for all types of chain
- Easy to apply with a precision spray nozzle
- Biodegradable formula
Size of can or bottle | 400ml |
Biodegradable? | Yes |
Application type | Aerosol spray |
- Suitable to be used on all bike surfaces
- O/X/Z ring compatible
- Watermelon fragrance
