Oxford Nexus range released | Suit, boots and gloves with maximum CE ratings for under £650 all-in!
Paid partnership with Oxford Products
Oxford Products have been setting the standard for affordable kit that gets the job done for years, and the latest Nexus range promises to be another example.
Bikers often have to weigh up the protection level of a garment with the price and make a compromise between what they want and what they can afford. Not so with the Nexus range, which offers a maximum AAA rating for the 1- or 2-piece suit, 2-2-2-2 CE rating for the boots and 2 KP for the gloves.
So, you can suit yourself up from neck to toe for less than the price of a top-spec helmet on its own.

Where has the Nexus range come from
Oxford say the Nexus is the culmination of four years of work and over 40 years of racing experience, but what does that mean? Well, by using the feedback given by top-level racers over the years and combining that with their knowledge of what riders want on the street to blend comfort and practicality with track features.
The Nexus range was created adhering to four key principles:
Ultimate protection
You should always dress for the slide, not the ride and that’s never more true than on a race track. The AAA CE-rated suit uses 1.2mm cowhide leather in abrasion-prone areas with hidden leather panels in key impact zones. All seams are reinforced with a hidden safety seam which greatly increases tear-resistance. Injection moulded TPU sliders at the shoulder, elbow and knee reduce the risk of a limb gripping the tarmac during a fall and initiating a painful tumble rather than an energy-dispersing slide.
Exceptional comfort
Four-way stretch zones and accordion leather panels make it easy for the Nexus wearer to move around on the bike and hang off like your favourite BSB rider. The stretch zones also provide breathability to keep you cool along with perforated leather panels. A breathable, moisture- wicking mesh lining can be removed and washed, so you are fresh for the next ride.
Dynamic styling
We all want to look good when we ride and the Nexus in red has all the sporty styling you would expect from sporty gear. Or if you fancy a stealthier look, check out the black and white or plain black options.
Racing pedigree
Oxford has been a steadfast presence in race paddocks for over 40 years, supporting teams and nurturing talent. They say that has allowed them to engineer products that “defy expectations and pushes boundaries to make life on bikes better”.
