I needed a specific tank bag for all season adventure riding along my local Welsh trails. Obviously, being Wales, it had to be waterproof, but for me it needed to be light weight and not intrusive when riding. More often than one cares to admit, it also needed to be able to withstand being on a bike that’s chucked at the scenery due to rider error. The Mosko Moto Pico (v2.0) performs exceedingly well at all of these.

It’s an improvement on Mosko Moto’s v1.0 of the Pico, which previously had the clear mobile slot in the lid, which was hard to fit larger mobiles in. Improved with a YKK Vislon Aquaguard zip, for better zipper action, and the best in the game for water repelling. MOLLE webbing has been added to the top, allowing for accessories, meaning it can easily pair with other MOLLE kit and is not limited to Mosko’s. Its 100% waterproof and with Mosko’s warranty it will be a long serving piece of kit.

How practical is the Mosko Moto Pico tank bag?

It’s quite specific, you are limited as to what you can fit in it, so it isn’t practical for everyone and for every ride. It’s just enough, when adventuring and packing light carrying only the essentials. However, what it lacks in size it makes up for in features with plenty to help your adventures. It has a charge cable access hole, dedicated slot for cards and cash, a hook to keep any spare keys secure, space divider, and accessory webbing. Along with it being fully waterproof without the use of an additional hood. It’s perfect for keeping your vital items off your person if you spend most of your time falling into the dirt like I do.

Is the Mosko Moto Pico good quality?

Having survived many a spill and accidental launch into the scenery, I can safely vouch for the Pico as being a sturdy piece of kit. Every detail has been thoroughly thought through, with newly revised zips improving the motion and sealing ability of the bag. To the direction of the lamination, and the opposing buckle clips used to mount the bag to the bike, but additionally allowing you to clip them together to make a handle when you take it off. The proof of its quality is evident when you witness the product research and development that the Mosko Moto team carry out and share on the social media.

Does the Mosko Moto Pico tank bag look good?

Looks wise, bang on for the current adventure light weight vibe, tactical yet simplistic, and very durable. You need to get your hands on one to really appreciate how durable the 1000D TPU coated nylon looks and feels.

Is the Mosko Moto Pico tank bag worth the price?

A fair price, albeit on the slightly higher side compared to other market options. However, the quality shows and is backed by Mosko’s limited lifetime warranty. If you have the same criteria as I mention above for your adventure luggage, the Pico is very hard to beat.

So what’s the verdict?

I highly recommend Mosko Moto’s Pico v2.0 for someone who knows what they want from their tank luggage, a minimalist, rugged and durable piece that will partner your riding for many years to come. If this is the standard of Mosko’s kit, I would happily purchase more.
