Baby steps: Best kids’ motorcycle boots

When it comes to kids’ motorcycle boots, most of what dominates the market are off-road or motocross versions.

It’s hardly surprising, as the best way to get them going on two wheels and give them all the key experiences of a motorbike from a young age, is to kit them out in motorcycle gear designed for kids and get them into some form of off-road riding.

Not only will they enjoy the experience but when it comes to them riding on the road later down the line, they’ll be able to handle their bike better than most adults on the road.

Having said that, they will also need protection should they choose to ride pillion with you so they aren’t all full-on off-road extreme boots, as these might get a bit much for a mellow Sunday blast with mum or dad.

We’ve compiled our choice of kid’s motorcycle boots to get your son or daughter started, whether they are in control or a passenger with you.
