I have been writing about motorsport for well over a decade, having started off covering the road racing and the British Touring Car Championship for a couple of online outlets.

I landed the dream job of working for Goodwood in 2016 and was part of the small team who handpicked the cars and bikes for the Festival of Speed, Revival and Members’ Meetings.
It is here that my love of motorcycle racing truly kicked up a gear, as I was given the two-wheeled content to curate.

Life then took me in a different direction, but it allowed me to open new doors, including writing for MCN on a freelance basis.

I was brought up in a motorsport family, with my father being a leading journalist in the BTCC paddocks during the hugely popular Super Touring era. I’ve always had a passion for motorsport and have enjoyed writing, so combining the two was something of a no brainer.

I am in awe of anyone brave enough to don a pair of leathers and run a bike to the edge of their limits on a track.

Nothing beats standing at The Bungalow waiting for the first bike to come flying across the Mountain on the Isle of Man. If anything, visiting the TT ruined all other motorsport venues for the rest of my life…
