Yamaha R6 UK pricing announced

The UK pricing for the Yamaha R6 has just been revealed alongside TMAX and TMAX DX
Yamaha has announced the price of the 2017 R6 – are you sitting down? It starts at £10,999. While that might be a fair bit less than the latest crop of litrebikes, it’s quite stiff when compared to its fellow 600s. A Suzuki GSX-R600 will only set you back £8,999 as would a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.

The Triumph Daytona 675 meanwhile is a little more at £9,600 but still well over £1000 cheaper. Is it worth the extra? We’ll let you know once we’ve ridden one.
Yamaha also announced the price for the 2017 TMAX too, which is £9,399 while the TMAX DX will be £10,699 (about the same price as a base model Fiat 500).
