Guy Martin creates own tea blend with competition winner

Guy Martin has created a bespoke tea blend with Bennetts Biker Dream competiton winner Rachel Heath from Chesterfield. The 23-year-old’s dream was to have a cuppa with the TV and TT star, but he went one better – creating a special blend of tea just for the two of them, when they met at the Yorkshire Tea factory on Monday.

“It was such a surprise to win and the day was amazing! I didn’t stop smiling all day and it will be something that I remember for a very long time” said ZXR400-riding Rachel.

The pair were accessorised with hairnets and white coats (a beard net in Guy’s case) before enjoying a tea tasting session with the specialist tea tasting team, learning all about the different types of tea leaves and blends before going home with their own special blend of tea in personalised boxes.

Guy is said to have particularly enjoyed looking at all the machines and speaking to all the factory workers, who were keen to say hi and have their picture taken with him.
