New Leo Vince for Honda Transalp XL700

Leo Vince exhausts has just released this oval silencer to fit the XL700 and older XL600 Honda Transalp models.

LeoVince engineers have opted for the SBK-OVAL silencer in stainless steel but in a shortened version with a stumpy 300mm body. 

The silencer is finished in a special brushed aluminium outer casing with Leo Vince’s latest style of tapered tailcone.

It’s completely road legal and ‘E’ marked.  

Performance is enhanced with an extra 2bhp and the torque gains in low and mid revs from 2800rpm to 4400rpm shows a healthy 10% gain. 

For those riders that want a more throaty sound the db baffle is removable.  T

he exhaust is set up at the factory to run on stock bikes and stock management systems so there is no need to spend any extra cash on fuelling mods.

Weight saving is fairly impressive as this LeoVince exhaust shaves 74% off the stock item, reducing the weight from 10.70kg down to 2.69kg.

LeoVince have not forgotten the popular XL600 models and this new style SBK-OVAL exhaust is also available, albeit with different fitting kits and pipework, to fit the first XL600 from 2000-04, and the later XL600 from 2005-07. 

It’s priced at £262 for both XL700 and XL600 models.

There is also an option of a SBK-DECAT conversion which replaces the stock catalyst made entirely in stainless and saves even more weight and improves performance.
