Bizarre new Bandit Ghost helmet!

Made in a strictly limited edition of 50 helmets for this year only, the Ghost, as you can see, is a crazy piece of kit.

Even its makers give the following caveat: “Warning: this helmet is windy, noisy, has limited vision and we do not take any responsibility for it to be road legal”. They do claim however that it has been successfully tested it on the road, at speeds exceeding 125mph, as well as in heavy city traffic”.

There’s a wait of 2-3 months once you’ve paid your 798 Euros (£685) and the helmet comes with no paint, just with primer.

Bandit Helmets claim: “Its safety standard can be compared to our DOT approved helmets which use the same quality fibreglass for the shell and the same EPS for impact protection”. More info at www.bandithelmets.de
