The Joey Dunlop Foundation is appealing for support for its aim to aid disabled visitors to the Isle of Man TT.

The charity was set up in memory of the late Irish road racer, Joey Dunlop OBE, who counted 26 TT race wins and five TT Formula One world titles among his achievements. With patron Linda Dunlop, and notable members including Jason Giriffith and Richard ‘Milky’ Quayle, the foundation has raised nearly £300,00 to porive a lift in the TT grandstand and also to purchase a site for a holdiay complex of five units with specialised facilities for the disabled. Work is due to commence in May 2006, to be completed by May 2007.

Foundation members will also be serving refreshments at the Mike Hailwood centre, selling clothing from the JDF range, and giving the chance to win one of three Honda motorcycles in a raffe.
