BMW's new stunt rider in action at Goodwood this weekend

New BMW Motorrad stunt rider Mattie Griffin will make his riding debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.

Ireland’s number one motorcycle stunt rider has chosen to ride a BMW F800R after previously riding a Suzuki GSR600.

His bike has been equipped with flat bars, a reshaped seat, a reinforced tank, crash protection, with the standard suspension, engine and chassis retained.

“I’m doubly excited about this weekend. It’s my debut as a BMW Motorrad rider so I’m hoping to thrill the crowds and show them some new tricks on my F 800 R – it’s a great bike for stunts. I’ve competed alongside Christian Pfeiffer on his and it’s proven its credentials. This will also be my first visit to the Goodwood Festival. I’m looking forward to entertaining the visitors and then having a chance to explore the rest of the show afterwards!” Mattie said. 

By joining BMW Mattie follows the steps of the four-times world champion stunt riding Chris Pfeiffer.
