Triumph 865 flat tracker for sale

1 of 7

Belgium Triumph dealer Blondeel is selling this stunning street-legal 865cc flat track custom at it’s showroom in Ostend.

The bike originally started life as a standard 2005 Thruxton but owner Patrick Blondeel saw the potential to build the first flat track bike in Belgium.

Patrick explained “I wanted to do something that we don’t have over here, I made a flat tracker because of the looks and the riding on soft surfaces, and it is a lot of fun”.

Engine internals are stock but the combination of the semi-open Shark exhausts and 39mm FCR Kehin carburettors increase power from a stock 56 to 62.92bhp.

The bike is up for sale at €12,000 (£10,500), a bargain when the cost of the parts to build the special totalled more than €7000.

It was originally built in 2008 but has recently been made street legal.
