Spanish MotoGP: Spaniards take top three places in free practice for 250GP

Three Spaniards have topped the time sheets at Catalunya with Alvaro Bautista setting the fastest time in the 250GP free practice session with a time of 1:46:181.

The Spanish riders in second and third place were Toth Aprilia rider Hector Barbera and Lotus Aprilia rider Alex Debon.

Current championship leader Mika Kallio could only manage a best time of 1:47:928, which put him 13th fastest.

Ex-world champion Manuel Poggiali was down in 15th on his Campetella Racing Gilera, while Blusens Aprilia rider Eugene Laverty set the 20th fastest time with a time of 1:49:707.
