Rossi tests 1198 superbike at Misano

Valentino Rossi is currently testing the new Ducati 1198 superbike at Misano.

The Italian is using the WSB testing session to evaluate the state of his shoulder before MotoGP testing gets underway in Malaysia next month.   

Recuperation from last November’s shoulder operation – to fix a motocross injury sustained last April – is taking Rossi longer than anticipated. Rossi informed us that his surgeons have told him he won’t be fully fit until April or May, which means no chance of a world title this year.

But is this true, or is it a smokescreen… yet more psychological warfare from the master of mind games?
