Still a touring tour de force

Brilliant budget first big bike but I don't think it will keep me happy for long.

Big stable, plush, mile eater, engine is a wondrous thing, two up distance work is easy. The weight of it is the only real downside. For a viable low budget tourer in the 2020s it makes a lot of sense. Reliable and the handling exceeds my expectations on twisty roads.

Brilliant bike, a fabulous all rounder. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, in fact I have recommended it to several people now. I have had to sell mine due to ill health but when I get better I’ll be buying one again. A good solid reliable engine that has enough poke to get you out of any trouble.

I found the bike to be compromised for road work and I rarely took advantage of its off-road potential

The best bike ever. And I have had a few corkers! Still go and have a look in the garage virtually every day.

All it is, is a straight line bike. You have no throttle control through the tight corners. I have done 8,000kms and am very dissatisfied with it. Would not recommend it at all. I have not ridden a bike this bad since the 1970 Kawasaki H1.

This is just the bike for me having owned 4 triumphs and a number of other bikes.
