  • ENFIELD GUERRILLA 450 (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Impressive spec, handling, and useability for less than £5000 makes the Guerrilla 450 a seriously tempting proposition

  • KOVE 800X PRO (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Brand new offering from Kove has all the ingredients to be a genuine contender in the middleweight adventure bike class

  • CF MOTO 800NK ADVANCED (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

If you are comparing like-for-like, and ignoring the name on the tank, it’s a very tempting sporty middleweight and incredible value for money

  • YAMAHA MT-09 SP (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

More composed and capable than the regular MT-09, as well as feeling more of a true sports edition, justifying the SP tag better

  • YAMAHA WR450F (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

This is a 450 that thinks it’s a 250, it loves to dive into the tight stuff; hopping and bopping through the Welsh woods felt almost effortless

  • BMW S1000XR (2020-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

As before the XR is still a classy all-rounder that can dish out savage performance one minute and be happy at cruising in comfort the next

  • BMW F800GS (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

A more substantial-feeling middleweight GS model that has a high spec list, low-price tag, and the ability to be made A2-legal if required.

  • BMW S1000XR (2015-2019)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

A true do-it-all motorcycle that's as at home on the track as it is on the road

  • DUCATI MULTISTRADA 950S (2019-2021)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Modern tech has won me over. Didn’t think I’d love having riding modes, cruise, screen dash instead of clocks etc as much as I do. The 950S covers ground effortlessly, smooths Uk potholes and looks stunning. Any chance to ride the multi is taken, it commutes, tours or gets its mad head on.

  • VOGE 525DSX (2024-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Very easy to get on with from Day 1. I think it's looks are much better than a lot of the competition, which is why I bought it, but it does have a lot of features as standard, so it's a bargain difficult to argue against. Sure I'd like a bit more power, but I didn't buy it expecting raucous...

  • BMW G310R (2016-2020)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Small capacity but suits me as a 76 year old 6' 4" gent. Light enough to wheel about and fast enough for my riding.

  • KAWASAKI Z650RS (2022-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

The best real world bike for today's roads in the UK. The smallest capacity bike I have owned, but the most fun.

  • BMW S1000R (2014-2021)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

This bike has been awesome quick shifter works effortlessly. Love the 4 riding modes, only use 2 of them rain and dynamic. Mostly a daily commuter.

  • DUCATI MULTISTRADA 950 (2017-2021)

    Overall owners' rating
    3 out of 5 (3/5)

Throttle response is terrible, I've fitted the throttle spaces and there's still way to much slack. The gear indicator is intermittent and obviously will need fixing (it might just want the sensor cleaning). I've got a 1999 fazer 600 and the throttle response from closed is instant, just a light...

  • SUZUKI GSF1200 BANDIT (1996-2006)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

I’ve loved owning my bandit, it has never let me down I’ve toured most of Great Britain and it is still in the condition it was when I bought it which was 15 years ago. I’ve had progressive springs in the front forks and a gas filled mono shock fitted feels like a new bike. Regular servicing a...
