Top bike reviews

  • CAN-AM ORIGIN (2025-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

An advanced e-trailie that balances usefulness with riding enjoyment

  • VMOTO STASH (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

It has electric’s typical pluses and minuses: instant, smooth power, but limits on range

  • CF MOTO 450NK (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Significantly cheaper than its rivals and matching them on performance and tech, the 450NK’s tempting price tag will certainly catch the eye of A2-licence riders.

  • ENFIELD GUERRILLA 450 (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Impressive spec, handling, and useability for less than £5000 makes the Guerrilla 450 a seriously tempting proposition

  • KOVE 800X PRO (2024-on)

Brand new offering from Kove has all the ingredients to be a genuine contender in the middleweight adventure bike class

  • CF MOTO 800NK ADVANCED (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

If you are comparing like-for-like, and ignoring the name on the tank, it’s a very tempting sporty middleweight and incredible value for money

  • BMW R1300GS (2023-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    1 out of 5 (1/5)

BMW can not deliver on hard cases, they seem to think we will wait a year. Sorry there is nothing to respect at BMW Motorad.Bought the first one in Milwaukee and already traded in for bike and company that support their product, Mark Pechko customer support is a joke, we as loyal customers...

  • HONDA CB1000R (2018-2021)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Bought this after a somewhat random test ride and never regretted it.

  • TRIUMPH DAYTONA 675 (2006-2008)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

The best sportbike you can buy for under 10k, and they only cost 5k! Really shakes up your idea on what a supersport bike should be (especially if all you've ridden are jap I4s), while being stunning to look at to boot.

  • APRILIA MOTO 6.5 (1995-2002)

    Overall owners' rating
    3 out of 5 (3/5)

Cool and stylish to look at. Very ordinary to ride. It’s a bit like the VW Karmann Ghia, looks great but it isn’t a Porsche. If you want a bike that looks great to just cruise around on it’s perfect. Philippe Starck is a legendary designer and the bike is better value than the lemon...

  • YAMAHA MT-09 (2024-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

The bike is near perfect, but yamaha missed some perfection points. for example: if you put it in cruisecontrol, your display wil switch speed in the display all the time in most positions, like: 114/115kmh back and forth . throttle is hard to feel when you open it up. With a cable operated...

  • VMOTO STASH (2024-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

It has exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and build quality, which frankly is superb for the price. As a commuter it is perfect, as a fun ride it is a massive grin inducing machine. Foot pegs way too low, the bike is dynamically great but just not possible to lean it over on...

  • KAWASAKI Z E-1 (2024-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

I would recommend this bike for beginners, who want to build their ride experience and don't want a scooter looking bike. As you build your experience you'll get frustrated with the battery life and the limit on distance.

  • KTM 1390 SUPERDUKE R (2024-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Use it to commute 3 days a week and for general use - electronics make it friendly/or not if that floats your boat - handling in the traffic is great - added Austin Racing RS22 twin cans after it was run in - bike seems a lot smoother now.I can't find anything wrong with...

  • HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 401 (2024-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Lovely little bike, little being the key in terms of weight and road feel. As a larger rider 6'3" in my boots and 235lbs I can ride comfortably for about 90 minutes (enough for my use case) but discomfort in the hips comes in after that so some stretching brakes are required.
